Welcome to the Hannover Optics Student Chapter
We are an official student chapter of the Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) founded in august 2010. Our chapter consists of young physicists and engineers interested in new optical technologies. Most of us are Master or PhD students at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V.
- 12 of our currently 21 members in front of the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V.
The goals of our chapter are:
- promotion of interdisciplinary exchange between scientists and engineers
- training in optics through special lectures
- workshops and company visits for a successful start in the professional life
- communicating science to subsequent generations
